About this product
Scrabble is the classic board game that always spells F-U-N! Consisting of interlocking words, crossword fashion, onto a playing board, Scrabble game challenges players to spell out words using letter tiles with various score values.
The object of the game is to get the highest score, and scores are given for letter values and boosted by premium squares on the grid. Words can read either across or down, and your word must use a letter tile already in play on the board.
Each player competes by using their tiles in combinations and locations that take the best advantage of letter values and premium squares on the board.
Scrabble game is not only fun but will improve your vocabulary as each time you play you are introduced to new and exciting words!

Great Addition to our Board Game Collection!
On a Sunday afternoon my husband and I love to take a trip down memory lane, to when we were children, and play a board game or two. We have a great selection of games, including Monopoly and Stay Alive. We hadn’t got round to buying Scrabble, but now we have, it’s one of our favourites! This game is a full size set, with two sides to the board. It’s good quality and the tiles are a good size. No need to wear my glasses!!

A Bit Disappointed
Really enjoy a game of scrabble. So much so, that this one was to put into our airbnb. However, the game inside the box, was not as one thinks, when thinking of Scrabble. Just rather cheaply made, nothing like the one we own, which is over 40 years old possibly. That's still going strong. This new one, has no chance of lasting. Can't get over the flimsy cardboard to put the letters onto. I did not think to look at the box, when I purchased, thinking Scrabble is Scrabble. Never mind.

No the board is not covered in hard plastic with individual moulded slots for letters. The letters just have be placed carefully on the board.
