"Not particularly exciting to open as a present but this base makes building with Duplo so much easier and more fun! My 3 year old builds cafes, shops etc. and plays with them for hours. Finished masterpieces can be put away complete avoiding tears at tidying up time."

definately a Worthwhile Purchase

"Bought for 18month daughter, to use with duplo bricks.. & she loves it. gives her another angle compared to trying to manage so many bricks with one set of hands.
Next was my attempt to try and find a similar board for the larger blocks of a differing brand.. couldn't find anything except for dead links that send you in circles.
But guess what - you can use this board for them too, as well as for other blocks which are none Lego branded and same size as duplo
we would have stuck with duplo, but with xmas and birthdays you end up with a wonderful variety of brands. This board has catered for all of them too ;o)"

"The Lego large building plate does what it intends to do. It provides a useful base for younger children when building their Lego creations. It allows the child to create scenes on the board and space them out and then retain them if they want to. It would be useful for children playing together to have a base each; the bases are cheap enough. The base provides them with their own 'space'."

"This board enables the children's creations to last that bit longer. Creates a very stable basis for building and they can create multiple scenes. Excellent."

"The Lego Duplo green building plate has proved to be a great favourite with my grandson who is 2 years old. It is robust and provides an excellent base for his building ventures and was an the best price when compared with other sellers."
