Old technology, fit for purpose? I am an electrical engineer and it takes time to "install" these to reduce the background "noise". I've had to coil up excess cable, switch off phone and battery chargers all over the house, even switch off the modem power supply and kitchen lights to prevent interference. Background noise is a kind of "buzzing" sound that makes it hard to hear the sounds you do want to hear like the little ones breathing. Go for a digital monitor as this should produce less background noise. 27 March 2014
Happy with product Very happy! Does what it's meant to! Great price also 04 February 2014
The night light is very handy to have but the quality of sound is not very good at all! Not very impressed!! 30 January 2014
Rubbish! Don't bother with this. We returned it. It made so much noise it was useless! We had an older model which was OK. Was expecting this to be better, but no, it's much worse! Not fit for purpose. 28 January 2014
Great price and does the job We have two sets of these for our daughters and they work just fine, at a great price. 14 January 2014

Answer:
Hi, thank you for your question.

Having looked into this for you, I can confirm that this will only have one receiver that will allow you to talk to the base, you will not be able to talk from the main base to the handheld device.

Thank you for using Argos Q&A.
