Safety Gates Explained

Safety gates can be fitted at the top and bottom of stairs, as well as to prevent your baby getting into certain rooms. Gates are usually suitable up to 24 months, but remember this is only a guide - some children are naturally more active and inquisitive than others! All of our safety gates comply with BS EN 1930. Remember... as safety gates vary in width it is important to select one that will fit securely, so don't forget to measure the gap to make sure the safety gate you choose fits perfectly. Make sure you regularly check the gate is fitted tightly to avoid accidents.

Not a stair gate as expected, just a door barrier

"But it works fine for that. I wanted something we could use in a holiday cottage so when I was downstairs, I knew my 2 year old was safe in his room. For that it did the job. V easy to put up and fold down again. It's just you have to step over it to get in the room."

Disappointing

"Easy to install, but confusing, as it seems like a easy compact safety gate.... Until u Actualy realise that the clips on the top of the gate I thought were to release the gate door open aren't that at all, they are the frame structure. Therefore this is not a gate! Good if you wanted to collapse it every time you want to enter the room, but as a gate, no good at all."

"This guard is perfect for using as a temporary gate whilst at the grandparents house, however due to the fact you have to remove complete to gain access to whichever room you have blocked off I wouldn't recommend for use as a permanant child safety gate"
