Poor fittings

"Bought for my 29 month old Son.
I tried to put this together but struggled fitting the steering rod into the base.
I got help with this and it wasn't 100% as the steering pole could "lift" up and down but it didn't come out.
Yesterday my Son used the scooter and managed to easily remove this steering pole.
I think its due to the parts not being up to scratch..."

"I purchased two of these scooters for my two year old grandsons' birthdays. Easy to assemble and good to look at, they were an immediate hit with both boys and were their favorite gift. The fact that they can be adjusted from four wheels to two makes them versatile and good value."
