My oldish Fuji HS10 Bridge camera had been struggling with a rather full 32G micro-card-in-adaptor, kept giving card-access error-messages & refusing to store videos (maybe the adaptor contacts were a bit iffy), but with this new SanDisk card, although it looks a bit old-school, the camera now stores photos like lightning.

The difference is that the cheaper one you've mentioned is slightly more up to date in terms of speed and technology. This Blue SDHC card is more squarely aimed at being used with older devices, whereas 943/9971 has a higher speed class and is not backwards compatible with SD-only devices.
