Folding Single Camping Bed. 3.6 5 318 337
Unable to put together I found this very fiddly to put together, the 2 main poles have to be assembled with the larger hole pointing upwards, but when feeding these in to the material they twist and you end up having to find ways to twist them all back into line, Once this was achieved you need to place 4 legs that support the whole bed into these holes, well I'm no wimp but neither me or my daughter were strong enoug to bend all of these in, so we gave in and I got a full refund. 07 August 2014
folding single camp bed hard to put together and make the bits stay where they have to be . not over the moon with this product at all . 05 August 2014
cramped size Ok for kids but not truly adult sized as it is a shade narrower than most beds. I would have struggled to sleep on it but luckily found somebody small to swap with. quality is average but ok for the price. If they hadn't skimped on the size it would be a good buy 05 August 2014
camping bed Be aware that the legs are tension sprung - my first attempt to assemble led to heavy metal legs pinging round room - could have been disastrous. Once this was realised, took more care & bed was relatively easy & quick to put together/ take apart. Was reasonably comfortable for 3 night camping trip - main objective was to be off the floor and this was achieved! 04 August 2014
Great campbed Carry bag made out of cheap feeling nylon, but thankfully, the actual camp bed made out of sturdy webbing, and my daughter assures me that it's very comfortable 29 July 2014

Answer:
Not having actually weighed it, the metal bars make it a fair weight.

Foldaway?

Can anyone confirm that this will foldaway once built, rather than having to be taken to pieces and rebuilt? One reviewer said it wouldn't fold?

Thanks!

Answer:
Sorry but argos helper is wrong. The legs have to be removed, the side bars need to be released from their end pockets and then seperated, (they are in three peices and need pulling apart) the bed can then be folded leaving the three peices in their sleeves. The only time and effort saved on re-assembly is the threading of the side bars back into their sleeves.

Answer:
Hello Nicnic and thanks for your query,

I can confirm that the Folding Single Camping Bed does, indeed, fold away for storage. It is possible that reviewer had a fault with his product which caused his bed to not fold. In such circumstances, providing the item has been purchased within a year with us, we will be able to replace the faulty item.

I hope I was able to help!

Thank you for using Argos Q&A.
