Hmmm, not very good

"Not sure if my expectations are too high, but after reading the other reviews I thought this light would be be great. However, the time the light is bright is nominal despite winding for ages, and even on 'bright' it didn't illuminate anything past it's immediate area. A bit of a disappointment I'm afraid"

Better than expected

"Used obviously for lighting in the tent at night, but took the risk in that it would (because of LEDs) last longer so that the young kids of ours wouldn't be plunged in to darkness.
Worked a treat, charged up in what seemed like an hour, and lasted from aprox 9.30 right until about 4/5 am (just when the light for next day was coming back up).
Only thing that would make this truly the best would be to be able to run it "direct from the socket" (although it clearly says not to on the instructions, it did seem to when I quickly tested it, but I didn't take the risk in actually doing this overnight incase of damage).
I have already recommended it to 3 friends
Top notch purchase and cheep to boot.
oh and gives off plenty of light too..."
