Challenge Folding 26 Inch Trekking Bike - Unisex. 3.6 5 12 12
Just the job Excellent purchase. Easy to put together with easy to read instructions. Only downside is no Argos store in the whole of the UK has another that I can purchase for my wife. If it does become available I would thoroughly recommend this product. 08 July 2014
challenge folded bike very strong bike, easy riding, easy to transport. the seat very to hard, have to change it completely could come with a pump, but I would recommend it. 25 June 2014
Very pleased with it. This is just what I wanted it to be. Fits in the car boot OK. Just think its a shame there are no pictures of it folded as that would have been helpful. 06 May 2014
huge! Hubby collected it and the box was massive he didnt realise how large it was the wheels etc. should have asked to look at the size of it in store as it was going to be taking up a lot of room and impossible to fit in a normal sized car boot so returned it without even trying to assemble it , so as long as you have a large storage for it, a van or an estate car and know how to build bikes then you should avoid , was extremely heavy /bulky, consider where you will store it! 29 January 2014
nice bike but too big bought this bike recently and had a feeling it might be too big and as hubbie wanted a folding bike he's now the owner. Haven't used it much yet but looks OK and does what it says an the packet. I'm 5foot 4 in so I was disappointed it was too big - so any lady of average height beware. 16 November 2013

My husband has assembled the bike and I thought I would only need to unclip the lever and push it to fold it again but neither of us can get it folded. Is there something else we need to do to fold it.

Do we need to take the handlebars off again?

Answer:
after you have loosened the 'clip handle' you need to 'pull up' on the clip to release the spring loaded bolt that the clip is attached too

Answer:
depends on the size of the boot - you would need a large car with a large boot for it to fit

Inside Leg specification

The webpage still says "31 to 34 inch inside leg measurements."

Answers here are contradictory:

... the leg size for a 26inch bike is 26 inches to 32 inches. I am sorry for the confusion this has caused.

... With the Challenge Folding 26 Inch Trekking Bike - Unisex, the frame is 17 inches, which means it is suitable for a 30-31.9 inch inside leg measurement (one inch less than the 31 inches listed).

Please clarify once again.

Answer:
Hello there,

I would advise checking with the Train company that you would be using as some trains have bike racks, storage areas etc that you could use but some may not.

Answer:
The bike I recieved (May 2014) included folding pedals. Just press in the release button on the inside of the pedal.
It doesnt make a lot of difference to the size, but its something. The biggest part is the handle bars - the only way to fold these is to use the allen key to release and lock everytime you use the bike
