Answer:
Hello,

I'm sorry for the misinformation in the product description; this'll be amended ASAP. Having checked with our supplier, the Cross Road Bike's fork is definitely made of carbon.

I hope this helps.

The bike looks really interesting nice and light and with carbon fork as mentioned in the previous question, it could be an excellent bike but before i purchase i was hoping you could give me some more info.
Would it be possible to get the chain set specifications and ratios, is it a compact.
What tyres are on there 23c,25c,28c or maybe fatter as it says road & trail specific.
I found the cross cycles website but this bike is nowhere to be seen on the website or any other drop bar road bikes for that matter, can you shed any light on this. Maybe you can direct me to where I could get more info.
Thank you in advance.

Answer:
Hi, thank you for your question.

I have looked into your query and I can advise that the tyres are 700C x 23C F/V and the gear system is Shimano 2300.

Thank you for using Q&A.

Answer:
The fact that this bike is sold in Argos should not put you off in any way. This bike is exceptional for the money. The brand is not very well known in the UK but from what research I have done and by all accounts Cross are reliable. You can adjust the handle bars to what suits you. I personally have mine in line with the cross bar. All you have to do is attach the handle bars and attach the front and back wheel. If you didn't want to do it yourself take it to your local bike shop. This bike is an amazing bike for the money. It just wants to go faster than you want to let it go. Which is what you want for a commute or just starting out racing. The build quality is fantastic and one of the most comfortable and easy to ride bikes I have had during my 4 years of a 20 mile a day journey. It is a great commuters bike. Easy to keep clean. Would invest in a set of slim mud guards if it is for commuting. The one and only draw back for this bike is it is likely to look like the best bike on your bike stand in the town. I had mine stolen in the city-centre where I lock it up for work everyday. I only had the bike for a month and a half. So my advice would be that unless you have an extremely heavy lock system or you have a secure place to lock it up, be vigilant as to where you leave it. I am considering buying the same bike again, I was that happy with it.
