Dissapointing

"I purchased this bike for my boyfriend for christmas. My boyfriend couldn't get the wheels and brakes to run smoothly. It appeared that the wheel was slightly bent, and the brakes were generally not good quality. There was also paintwork chipped from the bike and stickers peeling off.
I contacted argos who were understanding on the phone and refunded me the money."

"thougth about getting a second hand bike then i saw this on offer and thought i'd treat myself to a nice new bike. now my nice new bike creaks and groans more than my old bike, that doesn't work! after numerous lubrication's to everywhere it still noisily rattles down the road, I'm by no means large but the pedals feel like they could go at any minute and the plastic brake levers also feel very cheap and nasty. i rue the day i opted for this bike."

"Bikes looks good in book and value for money. got bike on Thursday broke by Sunday. No problems getting it exchanged. Am still unsure if bike will stand up to much use. I think in the future I will go for less features on these bikes and hope to spend the same money to get a more reliable and stronger bike."

"Is a good bike….but on my second day using the bike I heard a little tick-tack noise coming from the bottom bracket area. That noise comes when pedalling every rotation. I was visit repair shop and they said â€if noise will continue – you need come here to replace some things in Bottom Bracket â€"

"bike arrived on the day it should. It was relatively easy to assemble except the disc brakes, I am still trying to adjust them. Will probably take it to local bike shop and get them to adjust them properly."
