"Bought two as Christmas presents for my two boys who are desperate to go fishing. Had to take one back as when opened it did not have the 'eye' at the tip of the rod to thread the line through, but it was replaced with no problems. Not used yet, so waiting to see how good they are in practice - therefore don't know yet whether I would recommend it to a friend."

"i bought this item for my 7year old grandson there were bits missing from it i could not take it back asi was ill at the time and had it picked up for me so my grandson just made do with it"

"purchased this beginners pole for my daughter who got hooked into fishin straight away..decided to elasticate it just incase of a good size fish for her and for the price it was pretty good to start her off with..would buy another if any of my sons wanted to take it up too..no complaints at all"
