Good economical bike

"I had one of these bikes over 10 years ago and it worked well then so I decided to get another one now as a foot injury means I can't run for a while. The bike is easy to put together and whilst it isn't the most advanced type of bike on the market it certainly works well enough especially when combined with the arm workout. I am fairly fit and a 15 minute workout on a medium tension setting leaves me feeling exhausted (which is good of course!). The seat is at a funny angle (not level) and not the comfiest but this was overcome by buying a gel seat cover. Overall would recommend."

Just the job

"I bought this with "eat less move more" in mind. I have had a knee replacement operation and the saying above is impossible to do , so i bought this bike to gradually build up the muscles in my leg and I can see the difference after 2 weeks... great buy"

"I've had 2 of these V-Fit Air Cycles previously. This one has slightly different design features e.g the monitor drive is taken off the front axis and the handlebar pivot rod is located more securely but the general build standard remains fairly low, especially the handlebar linkages (you get what you pay for) and the seat is unbearably uncomfortable (I've substituted one from an older bike).
The monitor is now expressed in kilometres (was miles before) and taking the readings off the front axle has resulted in results that are 35% lower than when thechain wheel incorporated the sensor point."

"I read lots of these reviews first before ordering this product so hope this review will help someone else. It arrived well packaged and promptly so was impressed with that as I've previously had problems with deliveries from argos. Unfortunately when I unpacked it I found a spring holding the tension tape had fallen off which meant I had to take alot of the bike apart first to repair this. Once I had fixed this (which took approximately 1 hour) it was easier to complete. The parts are all well described which makes it alot easier. Once completed if you have enough energy you'll find you've purchased a good peice of exercise equipment. You can switch easily between either an exercise bike with arm exercises or just a bike. I enjoy using the bike with the arm exercises, abit like a cross trainer but without the strain on your thighs. I have my ankle fused so can't manage a cross trainer as my ankle has no movement so this is ideal for me."
