"Easy to assemble, and the bar allows you to grip it in different ways to suit different exercises. In that respect, it's far more comfortable to use that a 'flat' bar. Only gripe is that the click-through from search to product details had given me the impression that the weights were 25kg in total, and they are notably less. I'll therefore have to buy additional (and heavier) weights for it, as there is no room at each end for anything beyond what's in the box."

Best let the kids have a go

"To my amazement I find that even at its stated weight, it feels slightly to light and really gives you the impression you’re using a kids barbell set, its plastic design has left me feeling like I would rather have spent the money on something slightly more pleasurable and challenging. Don’t get me wrong, it’s cheap and when you don’t want to spend money it’s great, but I much prefer looking for deals that are both well in price and quality. This sadly makes none and I feel like the money has been elegantly flushed down the loo. Great if you want it cheap, not so great if you’re actually looking to gain some muscle. but I'm sure the kids will love it..."

z bar weights

"Purchased Z bar weights - arrived promptly once ordered. Alas had to wait 4 weeks for it to be in stock but held off buying another one as its the cheapest z bar including weights by far. Good quality for toning up, I bought it to get fit, hence the weight is ideal for me. I didn't buy it to pack on muscle as it comes with 15kgs of weights.
Only niggle is collars need tightening up very hard otherwise they turn loose. But then all weight seem to!"
