"Good piece of kit. It wont replace a brisk walk in the fresh air, but is ideal when you unable to get out. Gives a good workout. Keeps the blood pumping, builds stamina, and muscle strength. Great when you can use it any time, rain or shine. It's easily assembled by one, but easier with two people. It seems robust, but I've only had it a short while."

"I purchased the gravity strider because due to illness and medication, I had put on quite a bit of weight. It was very easy to put together and is very easy to use as it's low impact."

"Easy to assemble, and very easy to use. It doesn't hurt my bad back and I've built up the time using it gradually everyday. The whole family use it. Well worth the purchase."

Fantastic alternative

"Have to say I was a bit uncertain before buying, mainly because of some of the reviews on here. The gravity strider is *fantastic*, and great value at this price. It's not the equivalent to a cross trainer - so anyone looking to fill that particular role may be disappointed. But if low-impact motion is what you're after, this'll be perfect. I have had back problems for over half my life, resulting in not-very-nice nerve pain and times where the pain prevents me from moving about very much. With the strider, I now have a way of moving that does not exasperate pain - meaning that when I have a 'bad day' I am not immobilised. Both my GP and chiropractor have seen a significant change - I am able to get my circulation going and heart rate up without causing damage.
I noticed some comments on here about the width - I am a size 12 and have no problem at all. I would have thought it could become an issue at size 16-ish and above - but this is Argos, so you can always try it and return if necessary!!"
