Most accurate non-smartwatch you can buy for such a low price. Legendary classic 1980's Casio design that almost perfectly mimics the 1st Casio G-shock from 1983 with this tough rugged 100m water resistant multi band-6 shock proof timepiece. Light and comfortable on the wrist and an easy to read digital display showing Time, Day, Month, with World Time for several country simultaneous timezone tracking, multi Alarms with snooze function for one of the 5 available alarm slots, on/off hourly chime function, Timer and Stopwatch. Marker also on the time view to show Solar Battery charge status (which requires very little light to be functional. Time its taken from the transmitted atomic clock several times between 00:00 hrs and 5am giving exceptional time accuracy. This Casio will last a very long time and for the price, reliability that can't be beat for those that require a simple watch without being tracked, bluetooth connected or pinged by messages and other distractions from todays Smartwatches that sell your personal data and track your location and habits. Bulletproof build by Casio, go buy one!

Don`t think about it....just buy it. Solar battery recharge even under normal light, atomic clock radio signal every day in the UK Europe and USA etc.keeping it virtually 100% accurate. Great looking watch at such a great price..... The only watch you will ever need in my opinion.

Always correct, always charged!
I bought this three weeks ago before a trip to Europe so I could test the atomic clock synchronisation abroad. Everything works perfectly. This watch is always set correctly by overnight synchronisation with a local radio time signal and always charged with only moderate exposure to daylight. I have also used it in the sink and in the shower and it is at least that water resistant. The backlight is better than older models and renders the display easily readable in full darkness. I don't know how tough it is, but the G-Shock range has a good reputation.

It doesn't say in the description but it is the updated GW-M5610U version, I almost paid an extra £35 buying direct from Casio to guarantee it was.

Excellent, durable watch
Fantastic watch. Very durable, lightweight and looks great. The solar power keeps it running and it syncs with radio stations every morning for accurate timekeeping. Despite what the description says, this is indeed the 5610U model. My only criticism is that the display quickly fades at a slight angle (even compared to the cheaper F91W) but otherwise it's splendid!

Great all-rounder
Great watch I just took this on holiday. It's the perfect Holiday watch. World time, 200m WR, and shock proof no worries about damaging it or getting it stolen. Also I love the multiband 6 to keep it super accurate, solar powered so you never have to change the battery and it's got that classic Casio look. Only negative is you can't dress it up.

It has one alarm, two adjustable clocks -world time, a countdown timer, a stopwatch. Its very much the same as most other casio digital watches and Im not sure its worth the price of a hundred pounds but thats the customers choice. The fact that its a G-Shock watch doesnt make it any more or less likely to be broken in an accident as with any watches so I wont be buying it when Ive found other options that do exactly the same as this one but are a quarter or even a fifth of the price. My opinion

Cardboard cartoon. There is no tin. The packaging is not decorative or fancy. It comprises three recycled paper cardboard parts and a seemingly natural cloth, possibly muslin, bag that contains it within the box. Within the bag, the watch is supported on a ring of cardboard in the bag.
Its one of the smaller mens Gshocks and. Could be worn by a 9yo but maybe big depending on how much he likes it!
I got my 9yo daughter something from the Baby G line, which is the g shocks aimed at women and children - that ordinarily would have smaller wrists.

The one I got last week is the Updated GW-M5610U model so its date can be set as dd.mm.
A few days after collecting it, Argos kindly emailed me a Product Support message with links to Get Online Support and Instruction Manual. This instruction manual was just a single pdf sheet outlining the basic features etc and carried the old model number GW-M5610-1ER. A tiny full paperback manual is supplied with the watch and its pdf appears on its manufacturer website.
Ignore what Argos said, it makes no sense and is wrong. The U version is the updated version without the EL not the UK version!?! ER means it is the European version. There is contradictions in the pictures and the descriptions but looking through the reviews it seems around 2021 is when the U version is introduced to Argos stock, judging by the pictures. You could get weirdly lucky and receive an EL but you are definitely getting the LED version.
This is the M5610U which is the updated version that is able to show both the American date format of MM DD and the Eurorean date format of DD MM
