"This is the second Lorus watch I have owned; the previous one lasted more years than I can remember and remained accurate to within a few seconds all its life. This new one is even better looking and has renmained accurate since I bought it. I am most imopressed with the "Lumibrite" face that enables me to read the time in the dark."

"I looked for a 'proper' watch… you know – one with numbers, not just a line marking the times. Alas, these days these watches with proper numbers don't seem to be the fashion. I would hate to think that it is the watch manufacturers imposing just lines upon us simply because it is more cost effective not to use numbers.
Thankfully, I found one, and I am very pleased with it, as it also has the day and date, in French if you want. I like the glow in the dark, and that it has a leather strap.
Setting the day and date can be a bit fiddly, as it can be a little difficult to tell if you have pulled the adjuster out to the correct setting and have to turn it in different directions for the different settings."
