Customer reviews and ratings

Rated 5 out of 5áby Great lego Absolutely must have for any lego or Spider-man fans. My 5 year old was over the moon to receive on his birthday. 27 January 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby Lego Can't he wrong with Lego. And a fantastic saving. 20 January 2015
Rated 4 out of 5áby Poor Peter Parker! Yet another Spidey set has arrived! This one with some all-new minifigure remakes from the past. SPIDER-COPTER: I'll say again, I think vehicles make Spider-man look bad. I mean, is swinging on webs not cool anymore? But its not LEGO's fault. They just make what they see. Now, that said, its not a terrible vehicle. The cockpit is basically like the Quinjet, as there's two opening screens for room inside. There is four flick missiles on one side, but hey, they actually work okay because its the new mechanism. Well done on that LEGO! Overall, its not a terrible vehicle. GLIDER: Not much to say about it. I think its a bit large, but then, so is the Green Goblin. It has two flick missiles on it as well (NOT the new kind) and has room for one guy if you're Giant Goblin or two or three if you're regular minifigs. Well done as well. MINIFIGURES: -Spider-Man: I hope we all know him by now. He's a great superhero to add to your collection, though I recommend a few cheaper and cooler sets to get him if its your first time around (a big way to decide which Spidey set you want is to find your favorite villain mixed in there). -Power Man: One of my new personal favorites. He's got some wicked cool shades and since his name doesn't exactly declare what it is he does (I don't know the cartoons or comics THAT well) I have him do just about whatever I want. Really cool guy. -Mary-Jane: Hasn't been seen since 2004. She's been totally remodeled to become an outspoken Spidey lover than just a secret admirer. She's got a shirt with a Spidey heart on it and a smiling or scared face with her trademark red hair. To be honest, Gwen Stacy is a lot less annoying in the movies, but they have yet to make her... -Green Goblin: Did he put in Norman Osborne's juice or gamma radiation? Maybe a little bit of both, because this remake (who also hasn't been seen since '04) is big enough to take on not just Spider-Man but Bruce Banner's alter ego as well. He's big and muscular and inside some sort of steel-colored suit, so he's not what any movie-viewers expect, but hey, he's still a great villain. My problem is he just doesn't have that laugh capability at his size that Willem Dafoe graced us with. He's a bit more like the Lizard now. OVERALL: This set is a little overpriced, but I'm sure LEGO did it because they anticipated everyone heading out to stores to get Mary-Jane, Power Man and Green Goblin. I like the first two, but I really would have preferred a more movie-accurate Goblin and a less anti-Hulk one. Overall a fine set for those who enjoy Spidey with vehicles. 31 December 2014
Rated 4 out of 5áby spidey VS the Green meanie unlike My corny reference to the 2004 Spider-man this set is quite simply awesome. The Green goblin and his glider (The Flying Broom Stick) is super cool especially with the Oscorp details. I absolutely love the inclusion of Powerman and MJ (Mary Jane for non comic lovers). only disappointment the same old spider-man. 27 December 2014
Rated 3 out of 5áby goblin this set is weak. you get boring spiderman. You get mary jane and power man. You get a green globin big fig. the copter is cool and it has cool features. So why is this set weak? The PRICE. i give this set a C 19 October 2014
