Constant Elliptical Alarm Clock. 4.3 5 254 291
Nanny Great product for the price, does everything I wanted it to do. recommended.... 18 November 2014
The alarm on this clock is poor Good clock for the money, time is visible during the night. Alarm is easy to set but the alarm itself is poor. Once the alarm goes off it only beeps 5 times and then switches itself off-the volume is so quiet that it failed to wake my son up. There is no option for the alarm to continue to beep until you manually switch it or or no snooze function. Therefore it appears it is unfit for the purpose of an alarm clock! 18 November 2014
constant elliptical alarm clock easy to set up easy to use modern looking 12 November 2014
Does just what it's supposed to, basic clock with good illumination 10 November 2014
Basic but does the job I bought one, almost identical about 8 years ago the switch just broke but more than happy to buy another one, I especially like the "touch snooze". 10 November 2014

Answer:
The clock only works with the mains, the battery is just for back up in case of a power cut so the time stays correct. The display goes off if it's unplugged.

I like a dark room and don't want this to cause too much light.

Answer:
No. Its a lovely little clock once you get the hang of setting the time. Make sure that for AM alarm, the red dot on top left corner has dissapeared

Answer:
The display is easy to see if it's dull outside, but in bright sunshine the numbers disappear altogether and the only way to see the time is to shade it with your hand and peer at it closely.
