Science Museum Colour Changing Projection Alarm Clock. 4.5 5 125 141
Good clock This was bought as a present for our grandson. Thought it would help him with the time as it shines on to the ceiling. The clock appears to be of good quality and reasonable value for money. 08 July 2014
colourful time I love this clock, easy to read on the ceiling, so you know what time to get up, and a choice of colours too, great 08 July 2014
Te product functions very well IT is very easy to set to what you require 15 April 2014
ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT Bought this for hubby who had trouble seeing the dull display on our bedside alarm clock at night. Having the time projected on the wall at the end of the bed works so well. 14 April 2014
Present for a 13-year-old who wants to get up. An amazing alarm clock that suits the style of a 13-year-old grandchild (I'll buy one for myself next, and I'm over 60) with its clever illuminations and intriguing display of the time. 10 April 2014

Answer:
I have had this clock for 2 years and never knew it had mentioned a volume control in the description.
I don't actually use the alarm but I cannot find a switch and have just read the instructions and there is no mention of a volume switch.
Perhaps you should ring the customer services tel. no. in the instruction book?

Answer:
No of course not, all batteries have a certain amount of energy, when spent they give no electrical current. So the clock will stop, as well as the projection. Replaced the batteries and it will all work again. Permanently replaced the batteries when they're exhausted of energy, and it will permanently project the time until the batteries run out of energy and you have to replace them again and again and again....... Until the end of time.
