"It's the 4th one of these I've had...each one has lasted a few years then I've retired it when the batteries have run out for the 2nd time...good time, comfortable, probably buy another if they still make them when this one goes to the scrap heap"

"Well sometimes once in a while, something comes along and it is too good to be true. Well in this instance that is not the case. I have owned four of these watches over the years, and they last generally, about five years with me. I can say hand on heart, that this watch is one the best I have ever bought. They have never failed me. The reasons why I have had to buy more is because of occupational damage, and flat batteries. I would recommend this watch to anyone. I could buy a dozen of them, and not worry about buying another work watch again, but batteries only last so long. So in summation you can't go far wrong, with purchasing this watch. I just hope Lorus continue with this model, for the forceable future."

"It does exaclty what you would espect a watch to do and looks exactly like the pictures. The luminous face really is bright though."

"This is my 4th watch like this. 1st one broke and was beyond repair, 2nd one disappeared and was lost, 3rd was stolen from my hotel room. It's simple, easy to use, cheap enough to lose or have stolen. I use this when I'm travelling and keep my fancy watch in a safe. I like the luminous face and the day date. Get one."

"I'd owned one of these watches for many years, maybe around 10 years but not sure. During that time, I had to replace the battery a couple of times, which I found a bit fiddly, but managed it. I'm not worried about it being waterproof, so not bothered if changing the battery compromised it.
The main thing for me is that stayed looking smart all the time I owned it and it was still on its original strap, which is incredibly hard-wearing. I decided to treat myself to a new one when the battery needed changing again, as by then some of the finish had worn off from the back of the watch, although the front face was still in good condition. It's been very reliable and I like the way it looks, so had no qualms about getting a like-for-like replacement."
