Great watch
I've got an expensive watch and didn't what to wear it every day, so I bought three lorus lumibrite on 2nd November. The watch is light and comfortable on the wrist and being a field watch the dial is easy to read. The lumibrite is fantastic on a watch this price, okay the strap is not the best but I have no problems with it and you can always change the strap at a later date. If you want an every day watch to wear you can do a lot worse. And for the price between £ 25 to 35 pounds what not to like. And its 10 Bar water resistant even better.

Great watch for the price. Seems to keep time well and the dial stays bright for quite some time. Easy to read dial. Not taken it swimming yet so i cannot say how water resistant it is.

Exactly what I was looking for, a no frills but easy to read dial, the luminosity is superb and still legible after several hours of darkness, I did have to swap the strap as it was too small for my 9" wrist but would be fine on a smaller wrist.

It's quite a nice and comfortable watch with the lumibrite shines bright once its been under a light but it doesn't last through the night and in the dark its not legible....its no Luminox which is brilliant in dark but it comes at a much higher cost .A good watch but not lumibrite as you may think ...maybe a 7.5 to 8 out of ten

Good quality everyday watch
This is the second of this watch that we have bought - the last one was many many years ago, so it had served us well. It is well made (by Seiko), keeps good time, good quality and perfect for everyday activities including sports and building work. Can easily read the clockface in the dark. It is water resistant.

The case back is a screw on case back on the later version of this lorus watch. The photo needs updating on the Argos website. It makes changing the battery easier for a jewellere to change the battery with the correct tool . Its a 100m water resistant so not easy to refit a snap on case back on the older version.
