Distinctly average watch sadly
Picked the watch up from the local Argos quickly a week ago. Boxed nicely and securely, the watch was already going so won't be sure of the battery duration. I wouldn't say I have big wrists but I need to use the 4th hole from the end of the strap allowance, so probably not a watch for large wristed people. It is comfortable to wear though and doesn't itch or make me sweat. The strap seems like it might last quite a few years but their is replacements available if necessary. Don't expect much from the backlight, mine in pitch darkness is only strong enough to illuminate the hour, not the minutes, plus the alarm is soo quiet when off my wrist, I'm not sure it would wake the lightest of sleepers. If you use the stopwatch, to reset it back to zero requires a press of the backlight button so even that will reduce the battery duration if used regularly. Seeing the cheap watches/calculators/etc available for around £5 and under today, I think £14 (although not expensive) makes a very average watch more expensive than it should be. I'll use it for the date and time and not for swimming with so I hopefully won't need to test the water resistance.

I bought for my son to navigate his high school timetable and it’s perfect for him with the digital display having the option of both 12 and 24 hr clock times - he can struggle with the feel of things and we’ve had no complaints a nice soft rubber strap - absolutely great value for money and will grow with him

This is the nth version of this watch that I have bought over the years, a design classic. The previous one lasted six years before the strap died, by which time the display was beginning to fade. So I bought another.
