Customer reviews and ratings

Casio Men's LCD Black Resin Strap Watch. 4.5 5 240 272
Men's Casio watch Wanted a watch that was suitable for work purposes, and I'm very pleased that this product has fulfilled that purpose. Great value for the price, and although it is a mans watch, I find it is also suitable for female use. All in all very pleased with this product. 26 November 2014
The 'Ronseal' watch This does exactly what it says on the tin. It's the definitive digital watch. Alarm, stopwatch, current time. Dead simple, cheap and cheerful, comfortable, easy to read display, good backlight, and it lasts forever and a day. I only had to buy a new one because I went diving with my last one and forgot to take it off. A higher water resistance and a countdown timer would be the only additions I could suggest. 26 November 2014
nice and comfy to wear it was just what I wanted for work nice and light on your wrist 25 November 2014
Good quality at a very low price. Water resistant. Good features/functions. 19 November 2014
Does exactly what I need This is the third one of these I have had. The only reason for replacement is that, after a long time ( 3-4 years ), the battery finally goes or the strap breaks. It is as cheap to get a new watch as to replace either the battery or the strap. 19 November 2014

Answer:
No - straps still break in 2 years.
Pity, it's the only bad feature of this otherwise excellent product.
If Casio strengthened the strap (adding, say, 10% to the price), then there would be only one word for this product: PERFECT !
But then Casio would sell me 1 watch a decade instead of 5.
I've bought the watch (and its predecessor) since 1983.
Do the maths.
Batteries last 10 years - I keep F91Ws with broken straps and stick them all over the place.
Have you got a lawnmower with a stop-watch ?
