Yes, it cuts close to the skin. Electric rotary nose trimmers usually cut hair to a length of about 1 to 2 mm. We cannot provide a more exact length as it also depends on how you use it (how far you insert it and how close to the skin). Cutting closer than this might not be healthy for your nostrils or ears.
