Casio Men's Black Analogue and Digital Solar Watch. 4.8 5 8 8
Good inexpensive watch If you want a nice waterproof watch for a very low price then go for this watch. 16 September 2014
Casio Men's Black Analogue and Digital Solar Watch In the picture the watch looked exactly what I was looking for and had the features I needed (date, stopwatch, countdown, alarm etc.) and since I never take my watch off it looked slim enough to wear all the time. However, when it arrived it is actually quite chunky - which is fine for outdoor activities, but gets in the way for continuous use. It seems unnecessary to make a watch this chunky and I was very disappointed. 16 September 2014
Great product easy to set up and use Tough looking watch, very light and looks far more expensive than it is. 26 August 2014
Just what i expect from Casio Great watch, can take the knocks when I'm working as a gardener. And looks good too. 21 August 2014
Great Casio Watch This was bought to replace a Casio G-shock. Prefer this watch which has similar features plus Solar charging. Clear face and easy to access features. 22 July 2014

I understand that the watch is solar powered, but presumably the solar charger powers a battery that the watch runs from. In my experience rechargeable batteries don't last indefinitely, I would like to know the expected life of the battery.

Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your question.

I can confirm that having spoken to Casio, they have confirmed that the battery should last as long as the watch, so 20+ years if it is looked after correctly. The watch will require one full recharge every 6 months, where it is left in direct sunlight for at least 12 hours without being worn.

Thanks for using Q&A.
