Customer reviews and ratings

Keter Hatfield Wood Effect Plastic Garden Storage Box - Grey 4.1 5 348 351
Wood store Purchased to keep wood for a log burner dry outside. Sturdy base, unlike their garden storage bench we had previously purchased and had to re - purpose to 'light' storage (pillows, blankets etc) Needed a very strong man and a screwdriver to poke the clips through when fitting the base as pushing alone did not work. Once assembled the box is sturdy and easily supports a few pot plants and a cat. Keeps water out and runs off well when lid is opened. Would recommend for indoor or outdoor storage. 18 November 2014
Cheep and nasty but for the price what do u expect 18 November 2014
Garden storage box Product feels quite flimsy and could easily be broken and may get very brittle after a time outside. 13 November 2014
Wow Great box but l bought 3 for my van as they hold many small items as the box is very strong and can support the weight of a person sitting on it too, 13 November 2014
sturdy storage I needed this for extra dry & vermin proof storage & it does the trick 11 November 2014

Answer:
Yes I would say so provided you wrap sensibly ( aromas attract animals easier than you think) and use a decent padlock ( some animals are smarter than you think).

Answer:
I have put bags of compost and small bags of sand in mine and they are fine but I guess it depends on the size and weight of your bag of coal. Also, there's a limit to the weight I could lift in and out of the box. I don't think logs would be any problem.

Answer:
If it's on a flat surface and weight of the coal is on the base it would be okay. If the coal is leaning on the sides it would probably warp or buckle eventually.

Answer:
You could store fairly bulky items in this but be careful when trying to move the unit as the base might come away. It is also made of plastic so could crack if very heavy items are placed inside.

Answer:
Although quite solid it is still made of plastic and clips together and I would think that in time a heavy bag of coal would distort
and possibly unclip sides from base.
