good value have had this tv for a couple of weeks now haven't got onto internet with it yet not easy to follow instructions hopefully my son is going to help with this, remote mute button plays up could do with a new remote will have to look who to call for this must be a number somewhere, otherwise nice picture.. 27 January 2015
Good value for money It is a cheap HD TV but with alot of and all basic features. It is as smart as it can go. It has DLNA for mobile or laptop mirroring. Do not compare its graphics with Samsung - they are in a different league. But it is good enough. I think it is a low budget tv with good value for money and up to date technological features (except built in wifi). 23 January 2015
can't download ITV player TV fine but can't download ITV player -very disappointed! 15 January 2015
Not a smart TV, but a wonderful experience! The viewing angles on this LCD are excellent. Wherever I am in the room, the image is consistent, about on par with plasma! The brightness and colour are astounding. For the price I expected washed-out tones and dim images, but was delighted when I turned on the set to see the room somewhat filled with light. The thin bezels make it look modern and sleek, and the PC connectivity renders each pixel sharply and definitely. Movies look AMAZING. For the price you cannot go wrong! Thankyou, Argos! 14 January 2015
sound is diabolical , its like a loud speaker in a dustbin, had to buuy a seperate sound bar. 09 January 2015

Answer:
Most LED TVs don't have power off buttons these days. What I did was to plug it into a socket extension strip - anti-surge for extra protection (my socket strip also has an anti surge for the aerial) as most of those have switches on them which kills the power to everything plugged into it.

Flip the switch, TV and other peripherals (like a DVD player, speakers, etc.) all go off and save power. It's like adding a power switch without invalidating the guarantee.

The manual specifies installing Nero Media Home on your pc to act as dlna server. I assume this is windows only - are other compliant dlna servers supported (eg if I want to use linux) ?

Answer:
To tune a sky box in via an ariel cable you must select to tune both digital and analogue signals in the set up procedure as your TV is digital but your sky connection is analogue. But I would recommend buying an HDMI cable to connect your sky to your TV as it will offer you the best picture quality as this TV supports 1080p video/audio.

Soundbars

In other questions regarding soundbars you state that they have to be plugged in via the headphone jack. Surely this unit has an coaxial output which could accommodate a soundbar with coaxial input?

There is no built-in wifi. You have to buy the dongle if you want wireless access, else use the built-in wired connection.
