No you need a dongle it's a bit like an adaptor or a wifi booster connected with an Ethernet cable

You will need to connect the RCA audio cables from the speakers into the right and left audio "OUT" jacks on the back of the TV. You will either need to have self-powered speakers or the speakers connected to an amp in order for them to work as the TV's in-built amp will not be able to power the speakers.

I allso have plugged my 1TB hard drive in and formated too. But it does not work maybe its only a couple of different external hard drives that work for this tv. I also used a couple of friends hard drives and NONE work

I have actually done this myself ..I plugged a 1TB Hard Drive with power supply plug, formatted to NTFS, via USB and it plays all my MP4 AVI and MP3 files ETC through the Media Browser.. also plugged a BUSH sound bar through the COAXIAL and that works fine as well...

I tried an old Hard Drive however that was just USB powered and it did not work. However I was able to play media from just a standard USB stick.

Hi, Can I use my Ipad's internet connection wirelessly to use the smart apps on this tv.

Thank you for your question, I can confirm that to access all features of the Hitachi HXT12U 42 In Full HD 1080p FVHD LED TV, the TV needs to be connected to the internet via a Wi-Fi dongle, I hope this helps,

Sky Remote Control

Very happy with quality of TV bought today but we do not seem to have full Sky RControl use. The volume control on the Sky RC does not work but most other things do work OK.

We try loading a code as per instructions 065 but RC would not flash twice at the end. Are there any other codes or help you can give please.
