LEGO® Star Wars General Greivous Wheel Bike - 75040. 4.2 5 35 35
Typical Lego As with all Lego products this is a sound product.A great deal of the fun comes in the construction and my grandson loves it. 10 November 2014
Best Purchase Ever Finally! One of my most favorite scenes from Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith, has been recreated! General Grievous's Wheel Bike comes in extraordinary detail just like in the movie! With two blasters and a flick missile launcher on the side, this all-terrain moving vehicle is a force to be reckoned with! Not to mention the excellent artwork on the characters! General Grievous himself looks amazing! This set also comes with an incredibly large amount of weapons! I truly felt that I got my money's worth on this set! 29 October 2014
"Hello there!"-Obi-Wan I bought this great set for my birthday, and was very impressed! I first watched Episode 3 when I was ten, and it is probably one of my favorite star wars movies. This scene was a great scene in the movie and I felt that Lego portrayed it well. The Minifigures: Personally, I love the minifigs that come with this set. They are detailed beyond belief. Obi-Wan comes with a double sided face:angry and stern. He also has a nice detailed torso and leg printing to give him a whole jedi tunic. His weapon is a gun. I sorta wish he came with a lightsaber for the lightsaber duel in this scene. He is exclusive to this set. Grievous is AWESOME!!! He has 2 arms that attach to the torso, and two arms that attach to the other two arms. He also has legs that clip onto the torso. One thing about him that I didnt like is that his arms are sorta flimsy. He comes with 4 LIGHTSABERS 2 green and 2 blue, and a magnaguard staff. Also exclusive. Great minifigures. The Set: I really like how this set rolls on the wheel. It can also stand on legs. There is also a missile you can shoot. The only thing I wish was changed about the set was how it is somewhat hard to function the legs up and down. Overall, great set. Very much worth your money. Great minifigs. I recommend. 15 October 2014
meh this set was a a pretty big disappointment, I must say. I hate this version of grievous, he is not accurate to the movie and the arms are really weird. the weird staff is way out of proportion and quite ugly. the Obi wan minifig was ok, but I would have liked to get his lightsaber too, instead of the awful staff. I must say, this set also suffers from the lack of boga, because obi wan has no way to chase the bike. I would have been fine with another 15 dollars on the price had they added her. the only reason this set gets a three is because it looks cool, is pretty stable in walker form, and is a whole lot of fun too roll around. all in all, if youj realy want this set you could get worse, but if you are just looking around, you can certainly get better 13 September 2014
Much Improved Wheel Bike I had thought about buying this set since it was first released, I didn't because I didn't know if it was worth the price. (the set from 2005 included Boga for $5.00 more) But now that I own it I see that it is well worth the price. The bike itself is AWESOME and the minifigures are even better. the new General Grievous is the same as the Clone Wars version but with an ep 3 color scheme. He is so much better than the 2005 version. My only complaints are that Lego has not created a cape piece for him, and he cannot sit down properly. Obi Wan is much the same as the one from set 9494, Anikin's Jedi Interceptor but is still very cool, I really liked the great leg printing. The only con for him is that he has no lightsaber, I know that Grievous has four but still, Obi Wan is a Jedi and deserves a lightsaber. but I will easily be able to find him one. Back to the bike, it is SO much better than the 2005 version I owned. It's driver's seat is great, the target button on the side is awesome, as is the gun holder in the back. the seat however, does not hold Grievous well with lightsabers in hand. The missile launcher is extremely lame and only shoots about two inches. The bike rolls great with the handle in the back and is great for play. The blasters on the side look pretty cool. I really like the new legs, they make it easy to display the set, and also are good for play. Pros: Minifigs-incredibly detailed, great staff weapon- Roll function. Legs, so cool. No stickers. always a pro since it can be such a hassle to put them on correctly. Cons: No Boga! I had the 2005 set which included Boga but due to my age at the time I let it break and lost most of it's pieces, I would have liked a new one. No lightsaber for Obi Wan. I could have used a few droids to watch the battle but understand why they were left out. Overall a great set that I would recommend to any Lego Star Wars fan. TheGlader 12 September 2014
