Customer reviews and ratings

Pure Evoke D2 Portable Radio - Walnut. 4.9 5 7 7
Great product Excellent product. Nice and compact for my kitchen. Good sound. I saw some mixed reviews about the sound but I think it's good. Only annoying thing was that the battery pack doesn't come with it and argos don't have it but I decided to use it with the mains. Really pleased with the radio 10 June 2014
Good for the kitchen but not for a party! Great sound quality, easy to use and looks great! However it isn't that loud - i've used louder docking stations! But for mornings in your room or the kitchen it is fine! 26 April 2014
Fantastic Very pleased with this purchase. Easy to set up and great sound quality 11 March 2014
pure evoke d2 very good quality product. clock is a bit hard to see. great aux feature. 04 March 2014
Super compact radio! I bought three Pure radios before I settled on this one. Excellent tone, easy station finder and preset facility. It's the tone l like on this model, the wood case makes all the difference. Well worth the extra cost! 28 January 2014

Answer:
Hello,
I can advise that the alarm is a beeping alarm. I have checked the manual and you can set the alarm to either tone, or DAB or FM radio.

Answer:
Hi, thank you for your question.

Having looked into your query, I can confirm that although the Pure Evoke D2 Portable Radio - Walnut is supplied with a mains adaptor, it can be used straight out of the box when plugged in. However, to use it wirelessly, you would need to purchase the ChargePAK B1 rechargeable battery pack from Pure. The price can be found on Pure's website.

Thanks for using Argos Q&A.
