Stiff synthetic fabric makes it uncomfortable
I do not recommend this duvet. While it is warm, the outer fabric is a stiff, synthetic, plasticky material rather than a soft cotton type. Because of this, the duvet is very rigid, does not drape or bend properly, and feels uncomfortable. Even with a duvet cover, the texture is noticeable. Overall, it lacks comfort and flexibility.

Honestly, possibly the worst quilt known to mankind! Feels like paper. Doesn’t stay in the duvet cover. Awful. Took it to fabric recycling as finally given up on it.

The small print
The thermal insulation (warmth) of a duvet is expressed by the term "tog". The higher the tog rating, the warmer the duvet. The British Standard minimum tog bands are as follows:- 4.5 tog, 6.0 tog, 7.5 tog, 9.0 tog, 10.5 tog, 12.0 tog, 13.5 tog and 15 tog. All of our duvets within these tog bands conform to BS5335.
