"This fly screen does indeed keep flies out so in that sense it does its job, and for the price it looks ok too. However, be aware it will give you splinters at some point!
When we hung it up, I put on a gardening glove and ran my hands up and down each line to remove any blatant shards of bamboo, however I still got a splinter a few days later! Also you will possibly need to adjust the length of each line - I took some pliers to a few of the wooden beads to make each line less full.
To summarise, it will do for the price but it is no way perfect."
