Hitachi 32 Inch HD Ready LED TV. 4.6 5 501 517
good Got this tv for my bedroom what a bargin easy to connect only took 2 mins and the quality is great . 25 July 2014
how to keep the wife happy buy a 32" Hitachi t.v. Did what it said on the box, her telly broke so she was coming into my room and watching soaps etc. So a trip to Argos solved the problem with a very good t.v. for not a lot of money, absolutely superb value for money. Great picture easy to set up,sound could be better as others have commented but I find it more than passable, their are various sound settings to choose from, and for the money it cost, stop winging, we will get a reputation as winging something or other. 24 July 2014
like it right simple value for money, good quality, good sound good brand. 24 July 2014
Great Great product for my son new room . 24 July 2014
Excellent TV Earlier, I bought Bush TV. Its LCD cracked in two months. This one, however, is very nice. I completely trust this. 23 July 2014

I have connected my sat receiver (for astra 19.2) via scart and would like to receive UK programmes via aerial/ free TV, as well. How can I connect it to both and switch between them in easy way?

2. The only scart socket is now occupied by sat receiver, where/ how could I connect a DVD player to this TV?

I was thinking of buying this tv, but I am worried that by using the scart socket to connect my dvd recorder will effect quality. Others seem to have had similar problems...

Answer:
if you are using a standard dvd box connected thru a scart socket the picture would be the same as on your previous tv,if you were to use a upscaling dvd player where you connect via a hdmi cable the picture would be a great deal better

Answer:
this item does not have a built in recorder you would have to buy a separate freeview plus box or a freesat plus box the free sat box would require a working satellite dish, the freeview plus box works from your aerial

Answer:
Yes the tv is free view but, I found out after writing my review that there is a fault with these tv's, the fault is with the scart lead socket at the back of the tv, the tv doesn't always turn on, take the lead out and it works fine, i have returned five of these set's with the same problem.

Answer:
Yes, register the set with hitachi, you should have the paper work in the box, with the tv, send it off, and that's it. Your warranty starts from the day of purchase

Answer:
I have returned 5 of these sets because, i could not turn the tv on when the scart lead is used.
I thought my virgin box was faulty but, it turned out to be the scart connection, which I used for my video.
If you use hdmi lead for your virgin box, it will be fine, but, don't use the scart connection or you will have nothing but trouble.

On the box at the front it says led, and on the side it says LCD. It has a thicker back than we were expecting, which makes us think it is LCD. In which case it is false advertising.
