A Good buy A really good TV for the price and easy to install. Although a 32" screen it was really light in weight and looks modern. Really like the 'flick between two channels' button on the remote. If you are looking for a cost effective, good quality TV then you can't go far wrong with this one. 02 July 2014

Answer:
Yes it has freeview , but this model cannot record it on its own.

A separate PVR is required to record.

Thank you for your question.

I can confirm that the Hitachi 32 Inch HD Ready LED TV does not provide a glow around the edge of the TV similar to that of the Philips Ambilight.

Thank you for using Argos Q&A.

Answer:
No teletext no longer exists, at it was on the analogue broadcast signal.

You still get text based services on the free view platform, by pressing the "red button"

Answer:
Depending on the video out on port on your Mac, chances are if its a new book, so a HDMI-HDMI cable.

However check the ports to be sure it may be DVI - HDMI (which doesn't carry audio) or the older VGA

Answer:
Dave, are there no other connection methods on your soundbar? This TV has traditional red and white analogue phono sockets so maybe you could use them? I also wonder whether you could connect via HDMI? Hope that helps.

Answer:
the only time that you do not need a license is when using a tv that is incapable of receiving a digital broadcast ie an older analog set, you can confirm this with the licensing people, So if you bought this set then you need a tv license
