Hitachi 24In HD Ready FVHD LED TV/DVD Combi + Smart Apps. 4.4 5 83 83
Cheap TV serves its purpose Easy to set up. As said above, its a good price and a good little tv. Only had it going for 1 week and having problems with losing sound and picture - but don't think this is tv - its prob free sat box...... I have no aerial. Fingers crossed its not the tv as I have just been through an ordeal with previous tv (not Hitachi) which suddenly stopped working. 16 July 2014
Pay more and get better Picture colour not great and sound appalling. Bought on offer but if I could return it I would and get something better. Was unaware until my husband bought it that you can only return it if it's faulty. 15 July 2014
Lots of features at a good price I wanted a smart TV for my office with Freeview HD and Ethernet. Lots of channels, many I won't watch, but internet supplied services may be useful. One locked the TV including remote, but otherwise OK. I've used it as a CCTV monitor and to view pictures from my computer. It plays music CDs and the DVD player seems good. The headphone socket avoids annoying other people. Smart features involved installation of nero software, but it works well. The Argos reserve and collect service was useful. 02 July 2014
ok the picture qty is ok, but can't get the screen to display all the screen 20 June 2014
bought this for my son's bedroom. It was easy to set up, great picture and sound.easy to use 17 June 2014

On page 8 of the manual there's a diagram that shows where the buttons are and what the Do. Essentially it's the lowest button next to the DVD slot.

I purchased this tv and it is excellent. I also purchased the recommended wifi dongle to access the smart apps and although I can connect and it works, it is exceedingly slow causing constant buffering when watching youtube for instance. I have a very good signal to the tv and all my other wifi devices work well with no buffering, therefore I do not think it is my broadband speed. Is the problem due to the dongle and is there a more powerful dongle that could solve this issue

Thanks

Answer:
I swear by homeplugs - They use the electrical wiring in your house to replicate a wired connection, you'd need to plug a cable from your router to one homeplug, then where the TV is another homeplug with a cable from it to the TV. You'd need a 200mbps or faster one but they're pretty cheap. You can also get pass-through ones which have a plug socket on the front, so you don't waste a socket. I also bought this TV for the kids play room and it's excellent, apps work perfectly and quickly.

Answer:
Thank you for your question.

As the Hitachi 24In HD Ready FVHD LED TV/DVD Combi + Smart Apps does not feature built in Bluetooth you will not be able to do this unless your headphones feature a transmitter than connects to the source via a 3.5mm headphone port.

Thank you for using Argos Q&A.
