call blocker great piece of kit blocks all call centre calls.have to keep to checking phone still works. have recommended to all friends .very pleased with purchase. 19 August 2014
phonecall blocker Since installation had no nuisance calls 19 August 2014
Not overly impressed The unit was ordered as none were available in stock, I received e mail 4days after ordering, but when I set it up there were no lights when it was connected to my telephone line. I tried port number 2 but same result, also no dialling tone in port 2. I carried on trying to set up but I came to conclusion it was a faulty unit, which I returned for refund. The sales assistant offered to order another, I had waited so long I decided against this. I have since installed a call blocking telephone 05 August 2014
Getting Rid of those Annoying Calls I brought this as I was averaging between 5-7 unsolicited calls a day. A real 'pain' as I work from home and you get to see the frequency of calls coming through during the day. Within a couple of days, they disappeared and now its blissful silence and I only get calls I want. If a call does get through you can block it whilst in conversation or otherwise using a code afterwards. I would recommend if your are looking to get rid of those pesky call. 05 August 2014
Nuisance Calls Before I purchased this blocker we were getting up to 6 to 8 nuisance calls a day. Since installing the blocker we only get 1 or 2 nuisance calls every other day.The button on the unit can add a caller to the the unit database if you do pick up a call. So in conclusion I think the blocker has been a very useful device to reduce the number of nuisance callers. 24 July 2014

As others have mentioned, although most withheld and unavailable calls are nuisance, it is important that those from doctors etc. can get though. Is it possible to leave withheld and unavailable calls unblocked and block each one manually as it comes in the first time?

The CPR web site says that "Caller ID" must be turned ON for this product to work. But nothing on BT's Website tells how to do this.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

According to the CPR website, the current version of CPR blocker is "107". Is Argos selling the latest version or are they selling an older version that is no longer manufactured?

Answer:
There is a newer version of the CPR Call Blocker. V107 has an extra feature to block calls by pressing # 2 on your extension handsets if you have DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telephones).

Other than that, there is no difference between V106 and V107.
