Customer reviews and ratings

Belkin TuneCast Auto Universal FM Transmitter. 4 5 9 9
Does what is says on the tin Having read mixed reviews of the Belkin TuneCast Auto I plugged it into my old MP3 player and switched on with slight trepidation. The initial audio output did sound poor but after manually tuning to a frequency free of other radio traffic, and using the 'Pro 2' setting the quality was on a par with a good FM signal. I have now used it in 2 different vehicles and it worked well in both. I would tend not us the automatic frequency selection option as it does not always select an unused frequency. 15 July 2014
Pretty Good Not gone far afield from home but does the job locally 13 May 2014
alittle fiddly but a good product buy this dont bother trying cheap onces online they are rubbish! im happy with the price i paid for this, sometimes you have to press the button to find a clearer frequency because you loose a decent frequency when your driving but its the same as when your listening to the radio and you go past a tall building. i was looking for something cheaper ended up with this and it works fine, glad i bought it it does what i need 15 April 2014
Bought the item for my car. Poor quality, always interference and it didn't stay in the cigarette lighter socket very well. I wouldn't recommend this item to anyone. Not worth the price. 01 April 2014
Works fine It does what it says it does. First one didn't work, so took it back and immediately got a no-quibble replacement from Argos customer services. You inevitably get a bit of hiss in the background, and the volume is a little quiet, but you get that on all of this type of product. If you want to spend quite a bit more, I would get a new car stereo fitted that takes USB input or Bluetooth. You are looking at spending a lot more, for both options, but they are both more elegant solutions. 05 March 2014

Answer:
Hi,

You would need to connect the audio through the 3.5 mm audio cable. The USB is for charging your phone.

I hope this helps
