An ideal first purchase for anyone new to war gaming or for existing gamers who want to begin playing The Lord of The Rings Strategy Battle Game, it allows you to fight your own battles, or recreate the action from the films. The enclosed starter booklet has easy-to-follow examples and a step-by-step introduction to the game, while the rulebook contains all of the information you'll need to play the game proper. The two forces provided will allow you and a friend to begin playing right away - these finely detailed miniatures have been specially designed to allow you to quickly assemble a force, ready for your first battle.

This boxed game contains 9 plastic miniatures representing the Fellowship of the Ring (including Gandalf, Aragorn and the hobbits), plus a Cave Troll and 24 Moria Goblins.

There's everything else you'll need to begin playing and painting, including a pocket sized The Lord of The Rings rulebook, a starter booklet, dice, templates and plastic scenery, plus 12 Citadel paints and a paintbrush.

Please note these miniatures come unpainted.
