Wooden Expanding Fencing. 3.2 5 102 106
To light for free standing in a garden This free standing garden fence is way to light for garden as a strong gush of wind can knock it over . So I didn't use the legs of it and I had to attach it to an exerting fence so I'm useing as a trailer fence for a climbing plant . However that is defeating the purpose of what I bought it for in the first place. Would be better to sell it without fittings for a standing position .. as way to light and sell it with clips instead to be able to attach to an existing fence or maybe wall !! 28 May 2015
Expanding fence The description for this wooden expanding fence said that it was weatherproof, that was inaccurate, it was cheap looking and very light, which meant that it would fall over with the slightest gust of wind. 27 May 2015
Does exactly what it says This trellis expands to a nice length. I bought two and didn't put foot on end of one then hinged two together to make a partition from fence, along then onto side of pond filters. I attached bamboo reeding to the whole lot with small ties and this acts 1, to stop ours and next doors dogs getting near each other, and 2, hides the ugly parts of pond filters and stuff at the rear. A rock over the middle foot allows our strong winds to not affect it. 12 May 2015
Very flimsy ,will not last Had an earlier version of this which we use as a pet gate and it has broken after about 7 years of use, I doubt that this one will last 7 hours , it is poorly constructed and very flimsy , disappointed and don't think it is good value at all 06 May 2015
A fence for any area Just added the feet and away you go it wouldn't keep out pets as gap is to high so pets can get under .But it makes the old fence look new and plants look amazing next to it. 06 May 2015

Hi,

The size of the gap between the ground and bottom of the fence is 7cm when expanded and 2cm when compressed.

I hope this helps.

What is the minimum and maximum width?

1 year, 3 months ago
The title is 'wooden expanding fencing' so I assume it can expand and contract. Is the 150cm width the maximum? What is the smallest / what is the width when contracted to put away?
