Great little smoke alarm Ideal for the kitchen - toasting bread always sets the smoke alarm off, and this model enables you to silence the alarm temporarily. The light is also useful in the event of a fire that causes power failure. 05 March 2013

Relacement Downstairs Brought to replace our smoke alarm (over 10years old) at the bottom of the stairs which also had a light fitted, (handy for night if the power goes off). This was easy to fit as it came with the screws, and the fitting screw placements was the same size and placement of holes as our old one. Also it came with battery's. 13 February 2013

A Big Priority I had not realised that smoke detectors can become less sensitive after years of use and decided to replace an alarm with escape light before the grandchildren came to stay. The Kidde alarm with tester and escape light seemed a good replacement. I was very pleased with the simplicity of the fitting [the holes even matched those of my 15 yr. old device] so it took me 30 seconds to get best protection for our precious guests.
