Brilliant toaster

"Have had this toaster 2 weeks now and it is fab. Toasts evenly on both sides, is so quiet that when it does pop it makes everyone jump. Our last toaster used to make a lot of noise. Looks great, doesn't take up much room and takes full sized slices. Lovely toaster, not fancy but it does the job well."

"Some reviewers stated that the toaster didn't toast evenly on both sides and I have found that to be the case. Its toasts evenly if you put in really thick bread."

Not a bad toaster

"Not an excellent toaster, but not a bad one. Toasts evenly. A bit hot, inside and out. I find I have to have it set quite low to avoid having my toast too dark. And if it had some safe places to put one's hands and fingers, removing the toast would not include so much peril. It is not as if my concerns would not apply to most toasters, however, and, all in all, I do not regret my purchase."
