"I bought this as a replacement for my 25 year old much-used Bosch hammer drill, which had started leaking oil from the spindrel. The new one is quieter and has a solid feel when tackling hammer drilling. It also has the benefit of reverse for unscrewing, and a chisel action which were not features of the old `professional' drill. Comes with useful SDS bits as well... A good buy."

"Bought as a replacement for a similar saw which developed electrical fault after 3 years' use. Excellent quality product, very good value at Argos.
Only negative would be that the plastic case is not as good as the aluminium one supplied with my previous drill."

Solid drill with plenty of features

"Have used this to drill through plaster & brickwork, tiles and also used the chisel feature. Never used an SDS drill before, but does take away the hassle of mucking around with drill chucks and making sure the bit is perfectly straight. And a chuck adapter is an available add-on if you do want to use your normal drill bits.
No complaints other than it's a bit fiddly to get back into its box!
Check the box before leaving the store though, as the first one I bought had obviously been used, even though Argos warehouse had put a big "inspected" sticker on it!"
