The versatile and stylish two-way opening Extending Wooden Gate by Lindam is designed to fit an opening of up to 106cm without the need for extensions. The quick release fittings allow the gate to be removed and replaced quickly and easily to suit your lifestyle.

Safety Gates Explained

Safety gates can be fitted at the top and bottom of stairs, as well as to prevent your baby getting into certain rooms. Gates are usually suitable up to 24 months, but remember this is only a guide - some children are naturally more active and inquisitive than others! All of our safety gates comply with BS EN 1930. "Good product, worth buying if you would like a good sturdy gate for children/dog. This is the second one we have bought in the couple of years, one at the top of the stairs since our pressure gate collapsed when my daughter tried to open it, second one is for our play room door, which is particularly wide, to stop the dog going in! all in all a good buy, and doesn't look too shabby."

Tricky to fit

"I asked the odd job man to fit this for me and he found it a struggle. Even now it isn't quite level. It's make of nice looking wood but the fixings are cheap plastic and I'm afraid of breaking it every time I use it. However it does the job of keeping the dog where she should be."

"Have the metal version. Basically the same only not half as noisy as its made of wood when kids slam it etc. Managed to fit in awkward area. Very satisfied."
