"We have always loved our duck and down pillows but none of them have been machine washable. The prices have been extremely high as well. Once unpacked these pillows expand and are fabulous. They are machine washable so we don't have to keep buying new. All this and an affordable price - most unusual nowadays!!"

"Although the feathers are in a very strong fabric cover the feather spikes can be felt, but worst of all the feathers have a strong poultry smell."

"Much better than my old hollowfiber pillows as they plump up better and offer better support. Only negative is that they smell slightly, hope this wears off in time.
Advise the fitting of pillow protectors or using 2 pillowcases as the feathers can be quite sharp if they protrude through."

"BUYER BEWARE!!!
I bought these pillows 2 weeks ago and yesterday I took them back. I had read the other reviews and being somewhat new to feather pillows (due to allergies I always preferred synthetics) purchased pillow protectors as well. By the end of the 1st week, many of the harder quills had punctured the projector and pillow case. Days later I changed my bed linens and when I took the pillow case off feathers went everywhere!! Took the protector off to inspect, No tear, no loose seams, just the quills puncturing through and nearly a Gaggle's worth of escaped feathers. Ran my hand over the pillow and it was like running your hand over a pin cushion!! REALLY BAD!!"
