"Bought this with a pair of headphones for my brother who is having a long term stay in hospital...the headphones did not work, the cd/radio was not compatible I was told so bought a replacementl.....aside from this, it seemed ok for the price but I couldn't recommend it due to the problems with headphones."

"I bought this for my father who is disabled because it looked easy to operate. It isn't. When running off batteries there is a small fiddly switch to turn it off. The nice big buttons on the top are of little use and there are small buttons to operate the tape player not the large buttons I had anticipated from the picture.
It does the job but he still has to have someone help him to operate the thing which is not what I had in mind when I bought it for him."

"compact, good radio reception, total volume a little on the low side if in a large room, but if connected to larger speakers through the phones socket it produces an excellent tone and sound"
