"This compact portable, which was fairly priced, has proved to be excellent in so many ways: not least, the quality sound and easily packed in my rucksack when travelling. I especially appreciate the locking slide, which ensures no accidental programme changes. More than all that: reservation and pick-up were trouble-free."

Excellent small DAB radio

"I have been listening to a DAB radio which is integrated into a mains operated stereo CD system for some years now. I knew that DAB was good therefore. Bought this small portable DAB to replace an equivalent Sony FM analogue which has given excellent service for years but was starting to look its age. I use the new radio mostly in the bathroom running off batteries of course and so far it has been excellent. Have not really being using it long enough to be able to comment on battery consumption but I just don't think this is going to be a problem. Sound quality is excellent and the tuning and other features are good and easy to use."

"This DAB radio is by far the best radio that I have ever purchased. The sound from such a portable device is incredible and is so easy to set up.

Superb digital radio

"Always liked Sony products, and this is no exception. Good number of channels available, and easy to set up. Only three pre-set channels to use, but for some people that is enough. The radio itself is about the size of a paperback book, and doesn't weigh much more. No problem with reception, as I had placed it near a window to start off with. Instructions were fine. Sound quality is absolutely superb. What more can I say? I really like this radio."
