"these wieghts are excellent for home use as i have just started and it is very easy to have a good workout. The quality of the bar and dumbells is good but if you leave the bar with wieghts on the bench it does bend. the wieghts are fine and do the job well but the paint does come off if you bash them about. overall it was a good buy and the price was much less than prices for similar items elsewhere."

"Bought these for my son, he previously had some York vinyl cement ones, but they disintegrated. These cast iron ones are very robust and the spin lock mechanism is very easy to use. I expect the chrome will come off the poles but this is not a problem, merely cosmetic. I bought additional 10kg weights so he now has a very useful set. I was very pleased with the service at my local Argos and they carried them out to the car. They are a very heavy combination but they do come in three boxes."

"Good quality and do the job. Improvements from previous versions (and some other makes) are the rubber grips on the dumbbell bars and the new non-metal spinlock collars. The older metal versions were prone to loosening while exercising. The new non-metal ones do not."

"Im quite new to it all but very happy with them the locking nut does come loose but its just a question of tightening it up before you start. I would recommend them."

Recently purchased the weight's for our teenage son, he/us !!! can't fault the equipment
The ease of changing weight's is effortless, hand grips on dumbbells (as reviewed by others) is excellent.
