"This is the worst piece of flat pack furniture I have ever assembled. The screws required almost super human strength to put in (and there were dozens). Even an electric screwdriver didn't work. In the end I had to drill pilot holes and then put the screwdriver bit in the end of the drill to get enough torque. This must have taken me at least 3 hours to build.
Once in position it works well!"

"Bought this shoe rack for my caravan where I do not keep a range of luxury tools (ie an electric screwdriver). Armed with a simple Phillips screwdriver, I opened the box to find about 50 short pieces of wood and a packet of over 120 screws. I ended up with blisters the size of ping pong balls by the time I had erected it. However, it serves its purpose, looks OK for a caravan and was the only shoe rack I could find to slot into the narrow space I had available."

"This is a very good shoe rack as it can be used low/wide, or stacked for very narrow spaces. Sturdy when assembled but very time consuming to put together. Each shelf has 3 slats that have to be screwed to side supports and then these supports need screwing to uprights and there are no pre-drilled holes! Couldn't help thinking that a similar product from other providers of self assembly furniture would have had ready drilled holes beautifully lined up & poss to put together much quicker & easier. Because of this and being made of basic unfinished pine I think it's expensive for what it is, but does the job well when finished."

"I purchased this for a specific space so although it does the job, it really wasn't very well made or easy to put together. Dissappointed with quality. Every piece is separate so you have to individually screw 24 planks, 3 into each strut, then each strut to the uprights. 80 screws in total. There were 2 screws missing, lots of screws had rubbish heads on them so they messed up my drill bit, the guide holes were insufficient or in the wrong place, meaning if you followed the guide the screw came out the side of the plank.
It's a good job it doesn't need to look pretty!
For the prices you'd expect it a bit better made or at least semi put together."
