Good basic cordless drill

"When it comes to drilling am your man, as I have worn out and purchased loads of them. I have around ten quality drills in my small hobby shed that sit all neat and tidy on special tool holders. However when I want my sons to drill loads of holes and drive in wood screws I give them a new basic cordless drill to complete the task. This basic drill is a single speed and has a torque setting so you don't snap the screws. The drill is powerful enough for drilling and screwing into wood and thin metal. However forget masonary as it has no hammer action and would struggle as you need loads more power for this.The basic cordless drill is nice and light and comes complete with two screw bits a battery and a charger. Remember you will also need to buy a set of drill bits to carry out the work. However, being a basic unit the battery charger must not be left on after your battery is fully charged which takes from 2 to 4 hours as it will damage your new battery by overcharging it.. TOP TIP buy yourself a basic plug in timer that will switch it off for you. The basic drill gives you plenty of power for many hours and it does the job well for a budget price. After you have worn it out just go and buy another and keep your expensive tools looking like new."

Easy to use drill

"The drill is light, easy to use and adjust. I already have a large drill so bought this for small jobs such as putting up curtain rails and repairing fencing.etc. It isn't suitable for drilling into walls.
I found it a pleasure to work with although I have had a few problems trying to put long screws in as they seem to get stuck halfway but I think I needed to add a bit more pressure and keep going.
Would recommend for light diy if you don't want to spend lots of money on a drill as it works perfectly well."

Good value drill

"I have found this drill easy to use. It charges up quickly and drills through plaster and wood with no problems. It's not strong enough for drilling through brick but I wasn't expecting it to.
Nice not to have had to spend a fortune as I'll only need it for very occasional work such as putting up curtain track, hanging pictures, etc, so found it a decent enough drill for my needs.
Enclosed instructions were easy to follow.
A couple of screwdriver type bits are included. Drill bits have to be bought elsewhere (so 4 stars) but many a cheap retail outlet stocks suitable bits."
